4/4/2024 - DISPATCHED 2:20 P.M. - CLEARED 2:44 P.M. LEVELLAND The LFD received a report of a grass fire near the intersection of W. Highway 114 and Mile Road. Fire personnel extinguished the fire and waited on scene for Excel to arrive.4/4/2024 - DISPATCHED 7:25 A.M. - CLEARED 7:40 A.M.

Levelland cemetery cleanup set April 21

The first of three cemetery cleanups for the City of Levelland is slated for April 21.Cemetery personnel need wreaths, easels, ornaments, and other objects not allowed to be removed from graves and temporary markers by April 21st. After April 21st , they will be removed by cemetery personnel.

3/31/2024 - OPDYKE WESTDeputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Mandy Circle in reference to a disturbance involving shots fired. After conducting an investigation, an arrest was made for the offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
