Sundown Chamber hosts Christmas in the Park

The Sundown Chamber will be having a Christmas Event In the park on Wednesday December 20, 6pm - 8pm. Their will be a Light Parade to start the event. You will be able to meet Santa drink hot chocolate and win prizes! Light Parade line up by the fire department at 5:30 pm.

LISD KICKS OFF SEASON OF GIVING - As the Hockley County Salvation Army unit hosted their annual Red Kettle Kick-Off Tuesday. Levelland ISD showed their support with the LHS Choir, Drum Line and Cheer Team were in attendance. The LHS Choir sang Christmas songs while the LHS Cheer Team performed several cheers. The Hockley County Salvation Army unit hosted their annual Red Kettle Kick-Off Tuesday afternoon in the Levelland United Supermarket parking lot. The event included the Salvation Army canteen, Levelland High School drum line, choir and cheerleaders to begin the giving season.

DPS welcomes 94 new Highway Patrol Troopers

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) commissioned 94 new Texas Highway Patrol Troopers from recruit class B2023 during a graduation ceremony on Friday, Nov. 17, which was held at Great Hills Baptist Church in Austin.
