KLBGOLDENPICKERAWARD - Kade Gregory, Hockley County 4H member found the most unusual item at the Community Wide Cleanup on October 7. Gregory found a broken tablet and a hamster wheel. Gregory won the Golden Picker Award, McDonald’s gift card, Keep Levelland Beautiful t-shirt and Don’t Mess with Texas Reusable bag. Officer Fortner began her journey with the Criminal Justice Program at South Plains College to get her career in law enforcement going. She always knew she wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement from an early age and she is hopeful she can become an example for other women who would like to get into the field.
