SPC receives Kookaburra Swoop Aero drones

South Plains College has been given two 4th Generation Kookaburra aircraft from Swoop Aero. Swoop Aero of Port Melbourne, Australia exists to make access to the skies seamless by providing an integrated ondemand drone network. Swoop operates on six continents.

Suicide awareness walk set October 28 at Brashear Lake

There will be a walk to remember loved ones in hopes of supporting each other or someone struggling. If community members know some one that struggles, lost someone or just want to support the cause they are encouraged to come out and meet others that support the same cause.
