SPC Board of Regents sets regular meeting

The South Plains College Board of Regents will be holding their monthly regular meeting Thursday, October 12, at 12:30 p.m. in the Board of Regents Room located in the Administration Building.

10/7/2023 - 600 block of Cherry Street - 5:20 P.M. Officers with the LPD received a radio call to a residence within the area regarding found property. Officers made contact with the homeowner who had found a firearm in his yard. Officers seized the firearm at that point in time.

10/6/2023 - DISPATCHED 8:20 P.M. - CLEARED 8:29 P.M. LEVELLAND The LFD was dispatched to the intersection of 10th Street and Avenue H due to a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the passengers were able to remove themselves from the vehicle. 10/6/2023 - DISPATCHED 6:57 P.M. - CLEARED 7:20 P.M.

Gov. Abbott announces Texas Small Business Credit Initiative

Governor Greg Abbott announced the opening of the Texas Small Business Credit Initiative (TSBCI) and invited Texas financial institutions interested in participating in the programs assisting small businesses to apply which began Monday, October 9.
