The Levelland ISD School Board held their monthly regular meeting Wednesday that covered several updates and a handful of action items. Kicking off the meeting were ABC students Joleigh and Jordyn Ruiz who led the pledge before the beginning of the meeting.

SPC Regents set monthly meeting

The South Plains College Board of Regents will be holding a regular meeting Thursday, September 14, in the Board of Regents Meeting Room beginning at 12:30 p.m.

RRC releases August numbers

The Railroad Commission of Texas issued a total of 820 original drilling permits in August 2023. The total includes 710 to drill new oil or gas wells, 8 to re-enter plugged wellbores and 92 for recompletions of existing wellbores.

9/10/2023 - 1300 block of College Avenue - 7:51 P.M. An officer with the LPD was dispatched to Burger King in reference to an unwanted subject. After a field investigation, one female individual was arrested for criminal trespassing. 9/9/2023 - 100 block of Cactus - 10:36 P.M.
