Lobos, Loboettes earn district wins against Snyder

The win marks the Loboettes fourth in a row and improves them to 19-5 overall and 2-1 in district play.

On the Lobos side of things, they would secure a 78-32 victory over the Tigers, dominating in a similar fashion to the Loboettes.

The Lobos shot 49% from the field and 25% from threepoint range, while holding Snyder to 31% shooting from the field and 6% shooting from three-point range. They won the turnover margin by 18 as well, forcing 33 Synder turnovers.

Scorers in the win included Noah Martin with 15 points, Bentley Sepulbeda with 12 points, Graham Gibbs with 10 points, Bryson Golightly with nine points, Zavien Longoria with eight points, Anthony Gonzales with seven points, Jeffrey Cisneros with six points, and Nehemiah Sanchez and Kaden Brogden with four points.

The win improves the Lobos to 15-6 overall and 1-0 in district play.

Both teams are back in action early in the week at Frenship Memorial before getting the weekend off and returning next Tuesday at home versus Big Spring. The girls will play at 6:15 p.m. and the boys will play at 7:30 p.m.
