Houston reaches 100 wins as PACK finds success in Amarillo

The Levelland Tennis PACK traveled to Amarillo to compete at the Borger Bulldog Invitational this past Friday, putting together many great performances.

The PACK was led by Nathan Ellis and Fabiola Hernandez, who were Mixed Doubles Champions, followed by Michael Canon and Brady Houston, who fin ished runner-up in the Boy’s Doubles.

Other standouts included Esteban Neiland and Hayden Ewings winning the Boy’s Doubles Consolation Championship, and Reese Payton winning the Boy’s Singles Consolation Championship.

Following the competition, Levelland Head Tennis Coach Jeffrey Braziel noted how proud he and his staff are of the growth and success they’re seeing within their program, from top to bottom.

And a great example of the success is Brady Houston, who eclipsed the 100 career wins milestone this past weekend.

“Brady has been grinding non-stop since freshman year. He puts countless hours in on the court every week,” Coach Braziel said. “I truly don’t think words could every express how proud I am of this young man. His leadership and example will be unreplaceable after he graduates.”

Congratulations to Brady on the big career achievement, and to the PACK for a great showing in Amarillo. They’ll return right back to Amarillo on Friday to compete at the Randel Love Tournament.
