The Smyer Lady Cats were the clear victors against the Muleshoe Lady Mules, winning a decisive 3-0.
Smyer never let Muleshoe take a set, though things were close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-9, 25-21, 27-25.
Smyer got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kathryn Brown out in front who had seven digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Rylee Cooper, who had six assists and four aces.
Smyer is now 6-9, having gone 2-1 since their six-game losing streak ended.
After both having extra time off, Smyer and Tulia will hit the court against one another at noon on Saturday. The matchup will give the Bobcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
