Harold Davis Jr., 73, of Levelland , Texas, passed away peacefully at home on April 16, 2023 . Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023,at Head Duarte Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Levelland, Texas , Saturday , April 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Superintendent J.E. Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Levelland Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home.
Harold was born in Bryan, Texas to Harold Davis Sr. and Lovie Young Morgan. Harold, was a wonderful son, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He attended Levelland High School during his younger years. He was in the United States Army National Guard and National Army Reserve for several years . His hobbies included cooking out doors for his family and friends, going fishing, playing Dominos, and talking with friends on the phone.
Harold was proceeded in death by his father; Harold Davis Sr.; son Harold Dewayne Davis and two brothers Roceles Davis and Daniel Lee Morgan He is survived by his mother Lovie Young Morgan of Levelland, daughters: Kristie Ray of Ft. Worth, Rhodeshia Harris of Dallas, and Farrah Harris of Levelland sisters: Mary Jackson of Levelland, Goldie Kemp of Littlefield, Bobbie Mitchell of Ann Arbor, Mich. , Etta Evans and Betty Danhee both of Hobbs, N.M. brothers: Spurgeon Young of Levelland and Keith Fletcher of Ft. Morgan, Colorado
