A celebration of the life of Mr. Eric Lee Elliott, 48, of Tyler, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Brother Scott Parrish officiating, under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall at South Main Church of Christ, 402 S. Main St., Henderson, TX 75654.
Eric went to his Heavenly home on October 8, 2023. He was born December 17, 1974, in Henderson and spent most of his life in West Texas before moving back to Tyler in 2021.
Eric Lee was a man of few words. He was loyal, kind, and generous. He worked hard and played harder. Eric loved spending time with his nephews and jamming to all kinds of music, but his favorite sound was his daughter’s voice when she sang.
His heart was the happiest on a horse in a roping pen, his spirit was the most at peace on the lake, and his soul was the freest riding his Harley. He will be incredibly missed, but we rejoice in knowing that he is in the presence of Jesus and reunited with his favorite roping partner, his son Tyler.
Survivors include his wife Bobby Jo and cherished daughter Makenzie Leigh Elliott, his parents Bill and Ginger Elliott, his brothers Chad Elliott and wife Misty and Ross Elliott and wife Micha, his brothers-in-law Ricky Mireles and wife Janie and family and John Mireles and wife Samantha and family, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Elliott, Ross Elliott, Wade Elliott, Jordan Elliott, Payton Elliott, Carson Elliott, Judd Timmons, Reid Campbell, Wade Smith, Aaron Lowery, and Austin Garvin.

We would love for our friends to wear the things representing what Eric loved. He loved the western way of life, fishing on the lake, and riding his Harley.
