Carlos Silva, 65, of Lubbock passed from this life on March 8, 2023.
Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with the Rosary at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Smyer Cemetery.
He was born August 19, 1957 in Aldama Chihuahua, Mexico to Roma Silva Torres and Guadalupe Medrano. Carlos was a hardworking farmer.
Carlos was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a man of his word. Carlos was strong, but tender hearted. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. He loved to dance and make you laugh with a cold one in his hand.
Carlos was preceded in death by his father, Roman Silva Torres; mother, Guadalupe Medrano; brother, Gregario Silva Medrano; and sisters, Socorro Silva Medrano, Catalina Silva Medrano, Hortencia Silva Medrano and Teresa Silva Medrano.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rafaela Silva; daughters, Linda Silva, Jessica Silva, Magaly Silva and Carla Silva; sister, Guadalupe Silva Medrano; brothers, Encarnacion Silva Medrano, Roman Silva Medrano and Merardo Silva Medrano; and grandchildren, Carlos, Azul, Dagoberto, Yajaira, Eimi, Angel Gabriel, Kassandra, Angelique and Liliana.
