Jean was born on May 19, 1942, in Bula, TX, to Charlie and Lessie Marie Jordan Clevenger. She grew up and attended school in Littlefield, TX. She married Jimmy Wayne Logsdon on May 1st, 1960, in Bula, TX, and after moving around the area, they settled in Jimmy’s hometown of Levelland, TX. They were blessed with three children: Kelly (1961), Terry (1962), and Lisa (1965).

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmy Logsdon, son Kelly Logsdon, brothers David and Lloyd Clevenger, and sister Faye Shaw. She is survived by her son Terry and wife Tonya, her daughter Lisa and partner Stephany, daughterin- law Valerie, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

From an early age, Jean loved growing and caring for her lawn, which was full of many beautiful flowers. She enjoyed being outside with her many beloved pets over the years and creating a space for them to run and play. She loved photography and capturing the beauty of her flowers, family moments and memories, and more pictures than one could count of her kid’s sporting events. When she wasn’t working in the yard, she loved watching many sports but hardly ever missed a women’s basketball game. Jean was a diehard Red Raider Fan and never missed the opportunity to watch them on TV. One of the things that made her the happiest was cooking her family’s favorite meals during holidays and other visits. When she wasn’t tending to others, Jean enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching multiple episodes of Gunsmoke, the Waltons, Big Valley, and Bonanza.

Everyone who was blessed to know Jean was gifted by her warmth, humor, and generosity. Her legacy is one of love and kindness, and she will be truly missed by those she leaves behind.
