Services for Isabel Guadalupe Perez Martinez, 67 of Lubbock formally of Sundown were held on Tuesday February 14, at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
Internment was held at the City of Sundown cemetery. Pallbearers were Cheech Reyes, Augustine Jimenez , Sebastian Realyvasquez, Julie Lopez, Bill Reyes and Ben Reye.
Visitations and Reflections of Life were held on Monday February 13, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland.
Rosary was held on Monday February 13, 7 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
Isabel passed away on February 8, Lubbock.
She was born on November 12, 1955 in Brownfield to Sabas and Olivia Piedra Longoria.
Isabel, was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She moved to Sundown and Levelland area from Charlotte, Tx in 1983. She worked as a Custodian at Friendship Independent School District for several years.
She married Guadalupe Perez in 1993 in Levelland they had four children from this union. Her hobbies was reading bible in the morning, noon, and nightly before going to bed. Enjoyed listening to Christian music and watching religious movies on television.
She loved all her family members, especially her grandchildren.
Isabel was preceded in death by her parents Sabas and Olivia Piedra Longoria, spouse, Guadalupe Perez, second Spouse of 6 years, Richard Martinez, a son, Margarito Perez, five brothers; Sabas Longoria Jr., Narcecil Longoria, Jesse Longoria, Mike Longoria, Ricky Longoria.
She is survived by a daughter: Connie Jo Perez of Lubbock, sons, Steven Lee Perez of Rotan and Sebastian Realyvasquez of Lubbock.
Seven grandchildren; Angel Perez, Bella Perez, Eddie Perez, Helen Perez, Nicole Sepeda, Robert Conder Jr. and Precious Conder. Three sisters; Mary Reyes of Sundown, Diana Jimenez of Charlotte and Fidelia Perez of Levelland and three brother Roy Longoria of Lubbock, Joe Longoria of Crawell, and David Longoria of Houston.
