BOBBY JOHNSON
Bobby Lynn Johnson, 69 of Levelland, Tx passed on Oct. 3, 2024 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Tx following a brief illness.
Born June 1, 1955, at Camp LeJeune North Carolina, bobby was the beloved son of JoeAnn Davis Joshson and Joseph Johnson Jr. he was preceded in death by his father Joe and his loving mother JoeAnn Vick.
Bobby attended Littlefield High School. He left during his senior year earning his GED to enlist in the United States Army in 1973. His military career was cut short due to medical challenges. Bobby went to work in the oil fields in Levelland, Tx but truck driving was his true joy.
A man of faith, Bobby lived his life among his neighbors and friends where cooking and sharing meals with laughter fostered bonds of friendships.
Bobby married several times and never had children of his own, he delighted in being with nieces and nephews.
Bobby’s memory will be tenderly held by his two sisters, Donna Johnson and Luanne Snow, both residing in San Antonio, Tx and his three brothers, Steven R. Johnosn of Littlefield, Tx., Mark A, Johnson of Earth, Tx, and Wayne Lucas of Levelland, Tx. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, whole will cherish his memory.
A memorial service will be held on September 18, at 10:00 a.m. at The West Texas State Veterans Cemetery located at 4614 E. 50th Street Lubbock, Tx 79404.
