MIGUEL ANGEL FRANCO

Funeral services for Miguel Angel Franco 48, of Levelland were held Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Morton, Pastor Allen Hutto officiated. Interment followed at the Morton Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home.

Miguel was born to Jose Francisco and Angela Lopez Franco in Van Horn, Texas on August 2, 1974. Miguel was beloved by many. He was a big family man and was someone you could count on. He graduated from San Marcos, Texas. He met the love of his life Griselda Acevedo, on June 18, 2014, in Levelland. He owned and operated Muleshoe Equipment for several years. His hobbies included listening to a variety of music especially blues and grass gospel reading car magazines, working on cars, projects, dancing, and spending time with his dog, Ghost. He loves his morning coffee, storytelling and cooking outdoors as he hosted parties. He enjoyed being the center of attention and was the life of the party. He loved reading the Bible and traveling the good ole’ USA. He loved his grandchild, Andy. Miguel was a devout Baptist that loved to serve the Lord. He will be missed by many.

Miguel was proceeded in death by his sister Jessica Franco.

He is survived by his wife of eight years Griselda Acevedo Franco of Levelland, daughters Celeste (Westton) Franco-Owens and Roxanna Franco of both of Wolfforth, Texas, and Iliana (Jose) Onofre of Lubbock Texas, two brothers Tony (Isabel) Franco of Hobbs New Mexico, and Jessie )Ida) Franco of Levelland four sisters Maria (Saul) Alvarado, Rosemary (Edward Amalla, Erica Franco (Rey Reza) and Michelle (Mark) Herrera all of Morton, Texas and a grandson Jose Andred Onofre Jr.
