Rene Delgado, 62, of Midland, passed away on April 6 at Midland Memorial Hospital. Rene was born on December 14, 1960 to Carlos Delgado and Juanita Herrera in Spur, Texas. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at barbecues.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Pilar Morales; sons: Rene Delgado Jr., Jonathan Delgado; daughters: Mandy Delgado and Christy D. Cruz; brothers: Manuel Martinez, Johnny Martinez, Carlos Delgado, Cornelio Delgado, Raymond Delgado, Mando Delgado and Leonardo Martinez; sisters: Julia Martinez, Irma Martinez, Elva Martinez, Irene Bejarano, Dorothy Orasco and Betty Dehoyos.
Rene is preceded in death by his father Carlos Delgado, mother Juanita Nevarez; brother Jose Martinez and sister Maria Martinez.
Visitation was held on April 8, from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. at Avalos-Sanchez & Thomas Funeral Home Chapel. Chapel services were held at 2 p.m. with Deacon Ignacio “Nacho” Villa officiating the service.
