With the High School sports year and all-around school year coming to a close, youth summer sports camps are just around the corner, with many options across different schools and sports.
Levelland High School is offering a softball clinic, volleyball camp and baseball camp. For softball, the clinic is from June 9-11 at the Levelland Softball Field. They’ll be teaching hitting techniques, throwing and catching, fielding and base running. Kindergarten through fifth graders cost $40 per child and will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and sixth through ninth graders cost $50 per child and will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For volleyball, the camp is from June 3-5 at the Levelland High School gym and costs $50 per child. Second through fifth graders will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and sixth through eighth graders will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
For baseball, the camp is from June 25-27 at the Lobo Diamond. First through third graders cost $35 per child and will be at 9 a.m.; fourth through sixth graders cost $45 per child and will be at 11 a.m., and seventh through ninth graders cost $55 per child and will be at 1 p.m. Those who pre-register will receive a free camp shirt.

Ropes High School is offering a boys basketball camp, softball camp and girls basketball camp. For boys basketball, the camp is from Monday through Wednesday at the Ropes High School gym. Second through fifth graders cost $50 per child and will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and sixth through ninth graders cost $60 per child and will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Campers will receive a Ropes basketball t-shirt and there will also be team merchandise for sale during the camp for $20.
For softball, the camp is from June 16-17 at the Ropes Baseball Field. The cost is $45 per child, and each pre-registered camper will receive a t-shirt. First through fifth grade will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and sixth through ninth grade will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
For girls basketball, the camp is from July 7-8. Second through fifth graders cost $40 and will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and sixth through ninth graders cost $50 and will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pre-registered campers will receive a camp t-shirt and a Royal Ropes handbook.

Whiteface High School is offering a sports skills camp and a track and field camp. The sports skills camp will be from May 26-28 and offer training for football and basketball, located at Whiteface CISD. It costs $50 per child, which will cover both sports. For second through fourth graders, football will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and basketball will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. For fifth through eighth graders, football will be from 9:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. and basketball will be from 2:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.
For track and field, the camp is from June 1-4 at the Whiteface CISD Football Stadium from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The running session is the morning slot, and the field event session is the afternoon slot. The camp is for seventh through 12th graders and costs $100 per camper.

Anton High School is offering a basketball skills camp from June 1-3 for first through eighth graders. The camp is for boys and girls, and costs $30 per child. Each camper will receive a t-shirt.

Smyer High School is offering an all-sports camp for boys and girls in first through sixth grade from Monday through Wednesday. The price is $25 per child, $20 each for two kids and $15 each for three kids or more. Monday will be for basketball, taking place after school until 5:15 p.m.; Tuesday will be for football and volleyball, taking place after school until 5:15 p.m.; and Wednesday will be for baseball, taking place after school until 1:30 p.m. Each day is not mandatory to attend but welcomed.
