Lady Cats, Bulldogs win Bulldog Classic

Anton hosted the 62nd annual Bulldog Classic basketball tournament this past week, and the Anton Bulldogs won the boy’s bracket, and the Smyer Lady Cats won the girl’s bracket.

Texans go 2-1 in Texan Classic, improve to 7-2 overall

The 11th ranked South Plains College Texans basketball team hosted three teams for the Texan Classic this past week, going 2-1 in play to improve to 7-2 on the season.The Texans kicked off their play on Thursday with an overtime thriller against second-ranked Snow College, losing 88-83.

Levelland beats Monahans, 63-22, with huge 3rd quarter surge

The Levelland Lobos basketball team hosted and took down the Monahans Loboes this past Tuesday night, 6322.The win marks Levelland’s fourth straight and improves them to 4-2 overall, while it drops Monahans to 0-4 this season.

Loboettes blow out Lorenzo, 70-27

The Levelland Loboettes basketball team hosted and blew out the Lorenzo Lady Hornets this past Tuesday night, 70-27.The win improves the Loboettes to 5-3 this season and marks their third win in the last four games, while it drops Lorenzo to 2-4 overall.
