Eagles beat Bobcats, 23-3

The Smyer Bobcats hosted the Ropes Eagles for a district baseball matchup this past Saturday at Smyer High School, resulting in the Eagles earning a 23-3 win across five innings.

Panthers fall to Jayton in State Semifinals, 41-36

The #15 ranked Whitharral Panthers battled against the #1 Jayton Jaybirds in the State Semifinals of the 1A Division 2 boys basketball playoffs this past Monday night at Frenship Memorial High School, falling 41-36 in a defensive war.

Lobos lose to Lake View, 13-12

The Levelland Lobos hosted the San Angelo Lake View Chiefs for a district baseball matchup this past Tuesday night at the Lobo Diamond, losing 13-12 across seven innings.Levelland led 5-1 after two innings before Lake View would score 11 unanswered runs in the next three frames.

PACK grinds out tough tournaments

Last weekend, the Levelland High School tennis PACK competed and grinded out many noteworthy finishes against stiff competition, with the Varsity team competing at the Sandies Cup in Amarillo and the Junior Varsity team competing at Big Spring.

The Ropes Lady Eagles softball team hosted the O’Donnell Lady Eagles this past Monday night, resulting in a dominant 12-1 Ropes victory across five innings.Ropes’ offensive attack was on point, collecting 15 hits and nine walks, opposed to O’Donnell’s one hit and four walks.
