Wellman-Union hosted the 1A District 5 Girls Track & Field District Championship meet this past Tuesday, resulting in several notable performances by the Whitharral Lady Panthers and Anton Lady Dawgs, which powered top two team finishes for both high school programs.

Wellman-Union hosted the 1A District 5 Boys Track & Field District Championship meet this past Tuesday, resulting in numerous great performances by the Whitharral Panthers and Anton Bulldogs, which pow- ered top three team finishes for both high school programs.

Lady Eagles fall to Lubbock Christian, 15-5

The Ropes Lady Eagles went on the road for a softball matchup against the Lubbock Christian Lady Eagles this past Tuesday, resulting in Ropes losing 15-5 across five innings.Lubbock Christian took a 7-0 lead in the first inning, then bested Ropes 4-2 in the third inning and 2-0 in the fourth inning.

The Levelland Loboettes played host to the Lubbock Cooper Liberty Lady Patriots for a district softball matchup this past Tuesday night, resulting in the Loboettes run ruling them 18-3 across three innings.

Levelland golf teams both finish third at District

The Levelland Lobos and Loboettes golf teams competed in the 4A District 5 Golf Tournament this past Wednesday through Thursday at Yoakum County, and they came away with several noteworthy finishes.

Lobos fall to Frenship Memorial, 9-6

The Levelland Lobos played host to the Frenship Memorial Panthers for a district baseball matchup this past Friday night, falling to them 9-6 across seven innings.Levelland led 4-3 after the second inning before Memorial would score six unanswered runs across the next three and a half frames.
