The South Plains College track & field program competed at the NJCAA Division 1 Track & Field National Championships at New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, New Mexico this past weekend, resulting in a runner-up team finish for the Texans and multiple event National Champions.

The MYR Kids (Many Young Riders) Playday Series 2026 is set to kick off on June 2, followed by June 9, 16 and 23.The event, held at Mallet Event Center will feature leadline, dummy roping, goats, barrels, flags, poles, calf breakaway, steer breakaway and MYR team roping.
