Levelland City Council sets special meetings

The Levelland City Council will be holding special meetings Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29, at City Hall with both meetings beginning at 6 p.m. Both meetings will be geared toward budget sessions.

Engery grids face extreme heat

Southwest Power Pool or SPP, the grid operator responsible for coordinating electric reliability for a 15-state region in the central U.S. including West Texas and the Panhandle, expects to have enough generating capacity to meet the regional demand for electricity continuing into Fall 2023.

LEDC sets regular monthly meeting

The Levelland Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors will be holding a regular meeting Thursday, August 31, at City Hall beginning at 12 p.m.
