CHAMPS

 The Ropes Lady Eagles faced off against the Sanford-Frinch Lady Eagles where they won their game 3-1. The Lady Eagles play against the Tolar Lady Rattlers this Friday to see who moves on in playoffs. 

SACKED

 Whitharral athlete got in the backfield to sack the Amherst Bulldog quarterback last Friday during the teams District Championship win. 

MOTIVATED

Ropes Lady Eagle Kamdyn Garcia made a play on the ball in the girls dominant win over Sanford-Frinch. 

Whitharral wins District Championship over Amherst

The Whitharral Panthers took on the Amherst Bulldogs last Friday where they grabbed the win 46-32, at home. The game started off with a 30-yard pass from Jack Griffin to Dawson Rodgers to make the score 8-0 after a good kick from Jack Griffin.

Ropes handled by New Home, at home

The Ropes Eagles faced off against a tough opponent in the fourth ranked undefeated New Home Leopards in the District 2A-2 Region 1 District 4 High School Football District Championship game where they fell 56-7, at home.

Week 10 Football Contest

This was the final week of the Football Contest has concluded and these are the final winners for this years Week 10 contest. In first place, Jerry Gleason earned the first place only missing two games in Sundown vs Tahoka and Army vs Air Force and getting the closest to the tiebreaker.

Whiteface mercies O’Donnell for District Championship

The Whiteface Antelopes finished the regular season in convincing fashion, dominating the visiting O’Donnell Eagles 480 on their way to an undisputed Region II, District 5, 6-man High School Football Championship.

Bobcats fall against the Cowboys, at home

The Smyer Bobcats led for most of the second half, but could not hang on in the final minutes, falling to the Plains Cowboys 24-22 in UIL Class 2A Region I, District 4 football action last Friday. The Bobcats were forced to punt on their first possession.

DISTRICT CHAMPIONS

The Whiteface Antelopes are UIL Region II, District 5, 6-man High School Football Champions after a 48-0 win over district runner-up O’Donnell last Friday. The Antelopes will face Van Horn in Rankin on Friday at 6 p.m. in the bi-district round of the playoffs.
