Roughettes dominate Olton Fillies at home in district play

The Sundown Roughettes took on the Olton Fillies this past Saturday for their second district matchup in UIL Softball action where Sundown won in dominant fashion 17-0 after two and half innings.Sundown started off their matchup hot as they had 12 runs go for them at the bottom of the first innings.

Loboettes split Saturday games at home

The Levelland Loboettes faced off against the Midland High Lady Bulldogs and Tascosa Lady Rebels this past Saturday at home where they split the day.Midland 7, Levelland 6The first game of the day had Levelland taking on the Lady Bulldogs where the team lost in a nail bitter 7-6.
GIRLS GOLF- The high school girls golf team participated in a tournament last week. The girls placed 9th out of 17 teams. Aubrey Morin led the team with 90 day one and 91 day two. The Sundown Roughnecks took on the Borden County Coyotes this past Tuesday as the visiting team in UIL baseball play where the Roughnecks won 8-4.Sundown was able to get on the board early on after Caleb Clausen grounded out and Rian Rose singled, each scoring one run.
