Ropes Eagles drop game against Brownfield Cubs

The Ropes Eagles hosted the Brownfield Cubs this past Tuesday for UIL non-district baseball where the Eagles lost 5-4 in a close one.Brownfield was able to get the first point of the game off of a double from a popfly when they capatalized off of a groundout where the first hitter was able to score.

Loboettes rout Plainview Lady Bulldogs in Softball

The Levelland Loboettes hosted the Plainview Lady Bulldogs in UIL HS Girls Softball non-district play this past Tuesday where the Loboettes won 9-1 at home.For the start of the game it would be Plainview to get their only point of the game from a Home Run, from there on it would be all Levelland.

Whitharral’s season comes to an end

The Whitharral Panthers took on the Texline Tornadoes this past Friday at South Plains College for their regional semifinal matchup in UIL Basketball Playoffs where Whitharral lost 81-53.

Lady Texans fall to #9 Odessa at home

LEVELLAND — The South Plains College women’s basketball team fell to No. 9 Odessa 60-57 Monday night at the Texan Dome. The Lady Texans move to 13-16 on the season and 6-7 in league play and will close out the regular season on Thursday when they host Midland College at 5:45 p.m. at the Texan Dome.

Texans earn third and Lady Texans earn sixth place in Track and Field

GAINESVILLE, Flordia — The South Plains College men’s and women’s track and field teams closed out the indoor season with a third and sixthplace finish, respectively, Saturday at the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships at the Alachua County Events Center at Celebration Pointe.

#2 Texans blow past Frank Phllips 100-67

BORGER — The secondranked South Plains College men’s basketball team ended a seven-year drought Thursday night, as the Texans pummeled Frank Phillips 100-67 to capture the Western Junior College Athletic Conference title, their first since the 2017 season.
