Lady Texans fall to Collin County

WEATHERFORD — The South Plains College women’s basketball team fell to No. 4 Collin County 71-53 in the quarter-final round of the Region V Women’s Basketball Tournament at the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center on the campus of Weatherford Junior College.

Roughettes dominate Olton Fillies at home in district play

The Sundown Roughettes took on the Olton Fillies this past Saturday for their second district matchup in UIL Softball action where Sundown won in dominant fashion 17-0 after two and half innings.Sundown started off their matchup hot as they had 12 runs go for them at the bottom of the first innings.
