Smyer Bobcats fall to Sudan Hornets 80-37, on the road

The Smyer Bobcats went on the road to take on the Sudan Hornets this past Tuesday for district play where the team lost 80-37. The first quarter for the Bobcats was a slugfest as both teams were rolling offensively.

Anton Bulldogs route Amherst at home

The Anton Bulldogs took on the Amherst Bulldogs on the road where they won 46-37. The first quarter of the game was a back and fourth battle between the team as Anton was barely able to get the edge over Amherst 13-to-12 taking a narrow lead.

Bobcats fall to Whirlwinds at home

The Smyer Bobcats took on the Floydada Whirlwinds this past Friday at home where the team fell 68-42. The game started off with Floydada taking a big lead in the first quarter as they outscored the Bobcats 16-to-8 going into the second quarter.

The Whitharral Lady Panthers took on the Anton Lady Bulldogs this past Friday on the road where they won 69-13. The first quarter of the game was all Whitharral as they were able to take a 24 point lead in the first due to them holding the Lady Bulldogs to no points in the first quarter.

The Smyer Lady Cats took on the Floydada Lady Whirlwinds this past Friday at home where they girls lost 50-32. The first quarter for Smyer started off slow as they were held to just two points in the first while allowing 15 to be scored.

The Morton Indians hosted the Meadow Broncos this past Friday for their third game of district play where they won 6223. From the tip-off it was all Morton as they were able to take control of the game early and outscore the Broncos 20-to-3 taking a big lead going into the second quarter.

Loboettes handle Big Springs in District Opener

The Levelland Loboettes hosted the Big Spring Lady Steers this past Friday for the teams district opener where the team won 75-8. The start of the game was all Levelland as the Loboettes would outscore Big Springs 18-0 in the first quarter of play.
