Maidens take care of Lady Bulldogs on the road

The Morton Maidens faced off against the Amherst Lady Bulldogs this past Tuesday for their district game where they won 51-20 on the road. The first quarter of the game for Morton went well as they were able to outscore them and take a close lead on the Lady Bulldogs 10-to-6.

The Sundown Roughnecks hosted the New Home Leapords this Tuesday where the team fell 73-21. The first quarter of the game was the closest it would get in the game as Sundown would only be down by three at the end of the first due to their great defensive play.

Morton Indians route Seagraves Eagles

The Morton Indians took on the Seagraves Eagles in a nondistrict game at home where they won their matchup 59-43 last Friday. The first quarter started off close as Morton was able to outscore the Seagraves Eagles by three points taking a small lead 16-13, going into the second quarter.

The Sundown Roughettes competed in the Littlefield Tournament last week where they finished off 3-1 throughout the week. The first game of the tournament the girls lost to the Portales Lady Rams from New Mexico with a score of 66-33.

The Levelland Loboettes traveled to Littlefield for a tournament that lasted last week from Wednesday through Friday where the girls went 3-1 with their only loss coming from the #9 ranked Clarendon Lady Broncos.
