Roughettes take down Cowgirls

The Sundown Roughettes hosted the Plains Cowgirls this past Tuesday where they lost 50- 44. The first quarter of the game was a close one as both teams were able to get 10 points to go, heading into the second quarter all tied up.

Levelland falls to Sweetwater

The Levelland Lobos opened district play with a close battle at Sweetwater Friday and would fall to the Mustangs, 56-53. The Lobos and Mustangs would exchange the lead throughout the entirety of the game as tensions rose through the final minutes deciding the winner.

Loboettes stay undefeated in district play

The Levelland Loboettes continued their district dominance on the road as they blow out the Sweetwater Lady Mustangs Friday, 61-23. Living by the three-point shot, the Loboettes opened the first quarter with a 15-7 run.

Morton handles Anton on the road

The Morton Indians took on the Anton Bulldogs as the away team where they won the game 74-27 this Tuesday. The first quarter of the game started off good for the Indians as they were able to take a quick 14-7 lead at the end of the first.

Maidens route Lady Bulldogs, 37-27

The Morton Maidens faced off against the Anton Lady Bulldogs this past Tuesday on the road where they won 37-27. Throughout the game it was a very defensive game as neither team was able to get the edge on one another and both were evenly matched.

Bobcats fall against Jackrabbits, Lions

The Smyer Bobcats hosted the Ralls Jackrabbits January 12, where the team lost 48-41. For the first quarter of play it was a close game between the teams as Ralls was able to barely outscore the Smyer Bobcats 13to-10 at the end of the first.

Ropes Eagles stumble against New Home

The Ropes Eagles took on the New Home Leopards on the road where the team lost 66-28. The first quarter of play was rough for the Eagles as they were outscored 17-to-5 in the first, trailing quick to the Leopards.
