Loboette Volleyball dominates Maidens, 3-1

The Levelland Loboettes Maidens this past Tuesday at home where they picked up another win, 3-1, improving to 1314. The Loboettes started off strong as they took the first set 25-18, showing off their amazing offense and showing hustle on the court as they were playing as a team on the court.

Whitharral outlasts Silverton, 44-39

The Whitharral Panthers came away with a 44-39 home win over the Silverton Owls in UIL Class 1A 6-man football action last Friday night. “The Silverton game almost feels like a rivalry game,” said Head Football Coach Jeremy Holt. “They are a very good team,” said Coach Holt.
RUN PLAY - Peyton Casillas, coming off an injury against Ralls in the week prior, had multiple carries for the Smyer Bobcats in a 42-20 homecoming loss to the Floydada Whirlwinds. The Bobcats will travel to Clarendon next Friday for a 7 p.m. game. Clarendon is currently ranked 18th in class 2A-2 by MaxPreps. Last season the Broncos defeated the Bobcats 55-8 in Smyer. Ropes Eagles drop home game against Sudan

The Ropes Eagles faced off against the Sudan Hornets in an home game where they dropped the game by three points to the undefeated Hornets. The Eagles had a good game offensively racking up a total of 410 yards on the ground and through the air.

Bobcats suffer homecoming defeat, 42-20

The Smyer Bobcats had their hands full last Friday with the UIL Class 2A-1 Floydada Whirlwinds in a 42-20 homecoming loss for the Bobcats. Smyer trailed by only one touchdown or, at times, only one point for most of the first half.

Lobos celebrate big homecoming win

The Levelland Lobos improve to 2-1 after a 23-13, homecoming win over the Lubbock High Westerners Friday night. Three weeks into the 2023 season, the Lobos found themselves finally clicking on all three sides of the ball.

LHS volleyball sweeps Lady Cubs

The Levelland Loboette Volleyball team hosted the Brownfield Lady Cubs Tuesday night, taking the win and improving to 11-14 on the season.

Whitharral Cross-Country

The Whitharral Panthers finished with a good crosscountry season last year, but second year Head Coach Madison Ortega plans to do better this year. Her team agrees. “Our goal is to win district on both sides,” she said, adding that the goal was set by the athletes.
