Lobo basketball starts Jordan Windholz era

The Levelland Lobo basketball program has entered a new era under Head Coach Jordan Windholz as he begins building his program this summer. Windholz was named the new head coach of the Lobo program May10.
FOOTBALL CAMP - Whiteface ISD held their annual football camp May 23 through May 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The camp consisted of incoming second graders through incoming freshman. LHS STATE BAND- The LHS Lobo Band has performed at the state competition and we send out a huge congratulations to all of our TSSEC participants. Our students all performed well and represented LHS with pride. We are so proud of them for qualifying and competing at the state level.

LHS SOLO & ENSEMBLE- LHS Choir Director Amy Bayer shared that her choir ladies participated at the State Solo & Ensemble. Sophomore, Emily Perez, received a Superior (1) rating on her solo and brought home a gold medal.
ALL STAR SELECTION- LHS Baseball Head Coach Chris Portwood congratulated Wyatt Baccus, Blake Klose and Joel Pena for making the GWTBCA All-Star Game. The three Lobos will play in the all-star game on Saturday, June 17th at Lubbock Cooper. Coach Portwood is so proud of all of his Lobos and is thrilled to get to coach these boys one more time! Django Segovia won gold in the men’s pole vault and the SPC women’s 4x800 relay team secured the first national title for the Lady Texans on day one of the NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships at the Ross Black Field of Champions on the campus of New Mexico Junior College.
