The Levelland varsity tennis team got a massive win last weekend over Seminole, 13-6 to clinch a playoff spot for the third time in four years. “We cannot express how proud and excited we are for this group of student-athletes,” said Levelland Head Coach Jeff Braziel.

Antelopes crush Bulldogs in homecoming win

The Whiteface Antelopes took a 53-6 homecoming win from the Anton Bulldogs last Friday in UIL high school six-man football action. The Antelopes are now 3-1 and Head Football Coach Clint Linman is happy with his team’s attitude, but he isn’t relaxing. “The kids are playing hard,” he said.

The Roughnecks (1-1) hosted the Wink Wildcats (3-0) for Homecoming and were defeated 56-14. Sundown fell behind after Wink scored on their opening possession and then Wink scored again after forcing a fumble on Sundown’s first drive.

The Anton Bulldogs were defanged 48-0 by a stifling Kingdom Prep Academy Warrior defense in UIL six-man high school football action in Anton last Friday. The Bulldogs were held to 89 yards of total offense and only got past their own 30 yard line once, on the last drive of the game.

The Levelland Loboette varsity volleyball team pushed their win streak to two in a row last weekend. Coach Gibson spoke about her team being able to string together wins at home. “I think we are playing well finally,” said Levelland Head Coach Whitney Gibson.

The Morton Indian varsity football team went on the road last Friday night, taking a 3814 win from the Munday Moguls in UIL 11-man high school football action. The Indians racked up 395 yards, all on the ground, enroute to the win.
